Ever Ready Freddy and the Salamander 6

Hailing from Mid Devon and playing a curious mixture of funky, post punky, ska come polka come accountant's nightmare disco. We are Ever Ready Freddy and the Salamander 6! They recently spent some time recording at Unit 3 Studios and it was a delight to host them.

Fireside Rebellion

Instincts Take Over are a 5-piece band from here in the South West with members from Devon and Cornwall. Their set is mainly original material. They have a reputation for high energy Pop-Punk-Indie that draws from Ska, Soul, Blues and Reggae. Part of this video was filmed here at Unit 3.

Livvy Olwyn Hylton-Smith

The Specialized Allstars with Paul who scored music and distributed far and wide. With musicians from England, Wales, Australia, America, Finland, France, Argentina, Panama and Switzerland the I s a fantastic example of collaborative recording

The Salads

Three of the band members grew up in the punk era. Rhythm guitarist Chris had his first successful punk band 'The Filth' back in 1978 - they were played on John Peel's radio show. The Salads have also had two great gigs with Captain Sensible from The Dammed. With the revival of punk in the last few years The Salads pull a big crowd with their original music.
